Biography

Jan Knight is an independent research specialist and President of Bancroft Information Services, LLC. She provides customized business and market research to companies who wish to make "informed decisions."

Much of her “secondary market research” work helps to shape business plans, marketing strategies and new business development for a diverse set of clients including high tech start-ups, entrepreneurs, marketing strategists, advertising agencies, software firms, publishers, authors, sales consultants, technology companies and more.

She has previously worked in the advertising, marketing and publishing industries, has held client liaison positions at two of Tucson's largest advertising agencies and worked as a Purchasing Manager for one of Arizona's largest publishers.

Jan is originally from England and now is a Dual Citizen of the US and UK. She holds an M.A. in Information Resources & Library Science from the University of Arizona, and a B.A. in Renaissance/Humanities Studies from the University of California, Berkeley.
